SPEAKER INFORMATION:
Dr. Nguyen Trinh Don is in charge of research and partnership development strategy at the Irving K. Barber Faculty of Science, University of British Columbia in Kelowna, Canada. Don has extensive experience in writing and reviewing scientific articles through his studies and research in biochemistry (PhD at the University of Calgary; post-doctorate at the John Innes Center) and biotechnology (bachelor’s degree). at the University of Natural Sciences, Ho Chi Minh City) with publications in many journals such as The Journal of the American Chemical Society, The Journal of Biological Chemistry, Plant Physiology, Frontiers in Plant Science, Communications Chemistry, etc. He is also a member of the editorial board. Volumes of Frontiers in Plant Science (Peer-reviewed Editor, 2022–present) and Plant Physiology (Assistant Section Editor, 2020—2022) in parallel with being in charge of supporting finding grants and funding for scientific research at the University of British Columbia.
