SPEAKER PROFILE:

  • Aditya Batura is the Co-Founder and CEO of a renowned technology company. He holds a Bachelor of Software Engineering and is an MIT alumnus. He is currently a PhD Candidate and Adjunct Lecturer at SUTD (Singapore University of Technology and Design). He is also an Apple Professional Development Expert and an AWS Cloud Expert. He was a finalist for the SCS Young IT Leader Award 2019 and holds a Master of Architecture from MIT.
  • Lim Jia Xuan is the Co-Founder and COO of a renowned technology company. She holds a Master of Architecture and is an MIT alumnus. She is currently an Adjunct Lecturer at SUTD (Singapore University of Technology and Design). She was a finalist for the Singapore Women in IT Competition 2019.

WORKSHOP INFORMATION:

The workshop will share about the applications of technology in the field of education, focusing on three main applications. First, the application of gamification in motivating and promoting student engagement in the learning process by incorporating game elements such as scores, badges and leaderboards. This approach turns passive learning into an active and fun experience. Second, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to personalize the learning process for each student. By analyzing data, AI can recommend content that is suitable for each individual’s strengths and weaknesses, ensuring a focused and effective learning experience. Finally, the application of the user-friendly learning platform Rolljak provides a rich repository of resources, including gamified lessons, online lectures and other useful materials to support both teachers and students.
